Sagrada Familia

Sagrada Familia

Barcelona

The Olympic Games in 1992 really put Barcelona on the map and the number of visitors has been increasing steadily ever since. The city was founded by the Romans 2000 years ago and since then has been a centre of Visigoth, Moor and Christian culture. Ancient and modern blend together perfectly here. Elegant architecture, impressive tree-lined boulevards and lively squares are the trademarks of this metropolis where Picasso spent his youth and where the genius of the architect Gaudí flourished.

Barcelona • Sagrada Familia • Parc Guell • Monastery at Monserat • Cava Tasting • Blanes
