The Loire Valley, with its historic châteaux, vineyards and gardens, is one of France's most beautiful regions. Our 3 star superior hotel is centrally located in Tours, in the heart of château country. Tours has a wonderful old town with many narrow alleyways and a vast array of cafés and restaurants. Prices to include overnight stops or using Brittany Ferries western Channel crossings are available on request.

Day 1 Channel crossing and on to the Loire.
Day 2 Day at leisure in Tours. The old town houses a maze of small streets and squares packed with historic buildings, cafés, bars and stylish shops. Here there are also many street markets and nearby a choice of pretty gardens in which to relax.
Day 3 A full day excursion travelling through verdant château country. We recommend a visit to Château Chenonceau, which is noted, not only for its wonderful castle, but also for its beautiful gardens. In the afternoon continue to Blois with time to explore.
Day 4 Today travel west to Villandry. Here visit the château and its magnificent gardens, which are located on 3 separate terraces. In the afternoon on to the lovely city of Angers.
Day 5 Depart Tours and return to Calais for a Channel crossing and home.
