Day 2 Scotland is well known for its legends, so today we have included a chance to go Nessie hunting on a Loch Ness cruise. On then to Fort William for time at leisure. Alternatively, head to Glen Nevis for an effortless gondola ride up to 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor (admission cost not included).

Day 3 Travel to Inverness, the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. See its 19th century Cathedral, stroll along the banks of River Ness and browse the indoor Victorian Market. This afternoon visit Speyside Cooperage, home of the ancient art of coopering for over 70 years. A tour here takes you on the journey from Acorn to Cask and includes a whisky themed tasting.

Day 4 This morning, enjoy a trip on the Funicular Railway to the top of Cairn Gorm. Take in some of the most spectacular views in Scotland looking across the mountainous landscape which epitomises this beautiful country. This afternoon visit the open-air Highland Folk Museum in nearby Newtonmore. With over 30 historical buildings and thousands of artefacts, visitors will learn how Highland people lived and worked from the 1700s up until the 1960s! Alternatively, visit the Highland Wildlife Park, where a guide can join the coach to provide information about the fascinating inhabitants, some of which no longer exist in the wild (additional cost applies).
