Het Loo Palace
The Kingdom of The Netherlands was established in 1815, with King William I as its first ruler. Staying close to Amersfoort we include a visit to the stately Het Loo Palace. See also the Royal Palace in Amsterdam and enjoy an included canal sightseeing cruise through the city.

Day 1 A short Channel crossing to France and then north to Amersfoort for a 3 night stay.
Day 2 See Amsterdam at its best on a sightseeing canal cruise. Enjoy the sights to include rich merchants' houses, Anne Frank's House and the Van Gogh museum. After some time at leisure return with a possible scenic journey via Loosdrecht and 'Holland's Water Garden'.
Day 3 An included visit to the magnificent Het Loo Palace and Gardens. It was the royal family's summer residence for many years. See the palace's decorations, the stunning gardens and fascinating former stables and coach house. In the afternoon proceed to Amersfoort with time at leisure to see the town.
Day 4 Homeward bound, stopping in Bruges or Gent before a Channel crossing and home.
