There is so much to see and do in the area so our itinerary includes some of the most popular attractions. Alternative visits can be suggested on request.

Snowdon Mountain Railway • Llanberis Lake Railway • Bodnant Garden • Caernarfon • Anglesey

Day 1 Travel to North Wales.

Day 2 Experience the highs and lows of the national park with a visit to two of the best attractions at the foot of Mount Snowdon together with an exciting rail journey to the summit station. Begin the day with a visit to the National Slate Museum followed by a journey on the narrow gauge Llanberis Lake Railway. This afternoon, take a trip on the Snowdon Mountain Railway and savour breathtaking views from the summit.

Day 3 Today's excursion begins with a visit to the world famous Bodnant Garden created by five generations of one family and home to rare specimens collected on their plant hunting expeditions. Afterwards spend time at the superb Furnace tea rooms at Bodnant Foods. Opened in 2012, the vast centre is a development of traditional, 18th century farm buildings and includes a bakery, dairy and extensive farm shop all with a firm focus on locally sourced produce, ingredients and gifts. Return to Caernarfon with a stop in the pretty village of Betwys-y-Coed if time permits.

Day 4 A full day at leisure in the lovely city of Caernarfon. See the dominating and mighty medieval fortress that is Caernarfon Castle, the fishing harbour and enjoy the abundance of craft shops on offer. Alternatively, venture across the Menai Straits and tour the wonderful Isle of Anglesey with its beautiful scenery, bays and beaches. Stop in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, famous for having the longest town name in Europe.

Day 5 Homeward journey.
