Day 1 Channel crossing. Overnight in the Metz area.
Day 2 Pass Munich, into Austria and on to Mayrhofen for a 5 night stay.
Day 3 A day at leisure in Mayrhofen. It is possible to take a cable car high up into the mountains to enjoy great views of the village and valley.
Day 4 Start the day with an excursion to Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol, where the Golden Roof, Imperial Palace and Hofkirche can all be found near the city centre. After time to relax and explore the city, in the afternoon return to Mayrhofen for dinner.
Day 5 A long scenic day travelling over the Gerlos Pass to Krimml to see one of Europe’s most spectacular waterfalls. Continue to Kitzbühel and return to Mayrhofen in time for dinner.
Day 6 An opportunity to include a local train ride or a boat trip on Lake Achensee. Alternatively, visit Lake Achensee by coach and return via beautiful Alpbach.
Day 7 Leave Austria. Overnight in the Metz area.
Day 8 Short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
