Day 1 Channel crossing to Calais. Continue along the coast, past Dunkerque and Veurne, before travelling on to Ypres for a 3 night stay.
Day 2 Morning in Ypres with a possible visit to the In Flanders Fields Museum. Then meet the included guide for a walk through Ypres, stopping at the Cloth Hall and Menin Gate. In the afternoon visit Tyne Cot Cemetery and return to Ypres with time at leisure around the Grote Markt, where there are a host of restaurants. At 8pm see the Last Post Ceremony before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 A full day discovering some of the battle sites in the area, with a local guide, including Sanctuary Wood and the Welsh National Memorial Park. A visit to the remarkable Passchendaele Memorial Museum is included.
Day 4 Make a stop at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery and visitor centre, site of the largest evacuation hospital along the Ypres Salient. Finally, proceed to the short Channel crossing to Dover and home.
