Day 1 A short Channel crossing to France, through Belgium and then on to Valkenburg, Holland.
Day 2 A morning guided train tour of the prehistoric municipal cave in the centre of Valkenburg. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this lovely town, including the only hilltop castle in the Netherlands.
Day 3 Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour stopping first at the 3 Countries viewpoint and then continuing via the Margraten US war cemetery to beautiful Aachen.
Day 4 Travel to Maastricht today, the capital of the Limburg region. On arrival we include a 1 hour cruise through to the Belgium border, before returning to the city centre. Free time to explore the stylish shops, historic buildings and cafés.
Day 5 Travel through Belgium and on to Calais for the return short Channel crossing.
