Day 1 Travel to your hotel near Norwich.
Day 2 Morning guided tour of Norwich, by coach and on foot. This afternoon, the highlight of the tour for many, is a visit to the house and gardens of Sandringham Estate (usually open from Easter and closed on certain days in July: ask us for details). Built for Edward VII, Sandringham has passed through generations of royals but the decor remains true to its Edwardian heritage.
Day 3 Explore the beautiful Broads with a journey on the Bure Valley Steam Railway before transferring to Wroxham Bridge for a leisurely Broads cruise. Enjoy an afternoon beside the seaside with a trip to the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth and its 'Golden Mile' of attractions.
Day 4 First stop today is the Victorian seaside town of Sheringham. Join the “Poppy Line”, a lovingly run Heritage Steam Railway. Experience the nostalgia of times gone by at the station and see some of the most beautiful stretches of the North Norfolk coast. Disembark at Holt station. Transfer for time at leisure in this Georgian town or venture to the seaside town of Cromer.
Day 4 Homeward journey.
