Day 1 Travel to the hotel in Staffordshire.
Day 2 Depart hotel for Shugborough Historic Estate, now returned to the care of the National Trust. On then to the highlight of the tour, the World of Wedgwood where visitors will enjoy a self-guided factory and museum tour. Visitors will not fail to be impressed by this wonderful modern interpretation of Wedgwood's 250 years' heritage in the ceramics industry.
Day 3 Following a leisurely morning, take the short journey into Stoke on Trent or 'The Potteries' as it is also affectionately known. Visit the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in the Cultural Quarter and see the famous Staffordshire Hoard, the world's largest find of Anglo Saxon gold. This afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy the outdoor market, see Victoria Hall and Regent Theatre, and those who enjoy shopping should visit Intu Potteries.
Day 4 First stop this morning is a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum, one of the most popular of the Millennium projects. Covering 150 acres, this special place honours those who served and continue to serve our nation in many different ways. Venture on to Burton upon Trent to the National Brewery Centre for a Full Flagon tour, where an experienced and amusing guide will take you through each step of the brewing process.
Day 5 Homeward journey.
