Day 1 Travel to your hotel nestled in the Highlands.

Day 2 Journey through wonderful scenery to the heart of the Cairngorms National Park for a visit to Rothiemurchus Estate. Meet your ranger for a coach safari. Treasure the best views of the surrounding dramatic landscape and get the opportunity to meet the resident deer and Highland cows. On then to nearby Dalwhinnie Distillery for a peek at the ins and outs of a working distillery and to savour a tasting.

Day 3 A highlight for many is today’s journey on one of the world’s finest coast to coast railways. Catching the train from Inverness, travel along the ‘Kyle line’, in the shadows of mountains and forests, beside bright lochs and wide open moors to the picturesque Kyle of Lochalsh, overlooking the dramatic Isle of Skye. Meet your coach here and delight in the scenic return through Glen Moriston and Glen Garry.

Day 4 To Fort William this morning travelling along the shores of Loch Laggen. Pass the Ardverikie Estate, location for the filming of ‘Monarch of the Glen’ and stop in Spean Bridge to see the Commando Memorial, dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces.  Enjoy time at leisure before a delightful cruise on Loch Linnhe with live commentary highlighting the varied wildlife including Atlantic and Grey Seals who call this sea-loch their home.

Day 5 Homeward journey.
